Dr. Allyson Kelly is a seasoned General Dentist with a passion for delivering top-notch dental care to her patients. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN, in 2014. Her commitment to dental excellence led her to serve as a Captain in the US Army for five years, where she honed her skills and dedication to patient care.

During her first year in the Army, Dr. Kelly completed an intensive Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Fort Carson, Colorado. This experience provided her with extensive advanced training in various dental specialties, including Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Periodontics. Dr. Kelly’s thirst for knowledge and commitment to staying at the forefront of dentistry led her to pursue advanced training in placing and restoring dental implants through Alabama Implant Education (AIE).

Beyond her remarkable career, Dr. Kelly leads an active family life that revolves around the great outdoors. Her primary hobby is equestrian sports. She competes with her horse Atticus in Hunter/Jumper competitions, a passion she inherited from her family. Dr. Kelly is passing on this cherished tradition to her oldest daughter, Joelle, who is also learning the art of horseback riding.

In addition to her equestrian pursuits, Dr. Kelly is a devoted mother of two girls who are actively involved in soccer, acting, and horseback riding. She further demonstrates her commitment to her community by coaching her youngest daughter Audrey’s U6 soccer team. Together with her husband, Dr. Kelly shares a love for running and participates in annual half marathons. Furthermore, she generously volunteers her time at her daughter’s elementary school, making a positive impact on the lives of young students.

Professional Accomplishments and/or Awards
  • Army Commendation Medal for completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) while in the Army.
  • Health Professionals Service Program (HPSP) Scholarship, which funded Dr. Kelly’s dental school education and allowed her to serve as an active-duty General Dentist following graduation.
Personal Accomplishments and/or Awards
  • Army Achievement Medal for achieving top physical fitness in the Dental Unit of the
    Army at Fort Carson and Fort Campbell.
  • Participation in Hunter Jumper Equitation shows.
  • Completion of several half marathons, showcasing her dedication to personal fitness and well-being.
